Yes, i encoded blackkklansman that have a original video bitrate of 67Mb, the encoded file have a bitrate of 48Mb, that's a lot of loss. I just mailed DVDFab if future updates will allow higher bitrates.

How'd you manage to make Aquaman go from 52.7 Mbps to only 48.2 Mbps? That's a more acceptable loss, for me..

The video bitrate of aquaman is 52.7Mb, that's almost the max bitrate that DVDFab can produce, so the loss is less. If the movie is 67Mb than the loss is more, because DVDFab can go max 50Mb.

Maybe they're trying to make it fit on a 50gb bd-r disc. Hopefully they up it to 100gb bd-xl in the next update.

I successfully encoded "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald " with dvdfab (thanks @Donpablo80 ).
It works on my Lg C8.
Then I tried to remux the video track with the atmos audio track to get possibly lossless audio and dolby vision.
As Donpablo80 said, txmuxer does not recognize the video file made by dvdfab, so I tried to mux via toolnix changing the file extension to mp4.
No chance.

I dont know what the hell happends with the fucking Sony OS, but now I want to play a demo DV file, befored played good, but now, black screen and only audio.

So I reset the TV and the demo play again, I can't understand nothing, maybe the file created for dvdfab "corrupted" the video app? i don't know, i wanna try again with the rip of the movie created with dvdfab and I post the results.

Really really hate the OS of Sony, is the worst with the fucking laggy Android, i want the fabollous LG OS and play Dual layers of DV

Final results, the rip of the movie in DV single layer its play but bad, all colors are green.

So this method doesn't work for Sony Tvs

Looking the mediainfo of the demos, they play good, has 2 differences. Codec ID : mp42 (mp42/isom/dby1) vs mp42 (mp42/dby1/isom) and HDR format : Dolby Vision, Version 1.0, dvhe.05.06, BL+RPU vs 1.0, dvhe.05.09, BL+RPU.

I don't know if is important or no, just is a crap and dont work on the fucking Sony tv

Maybe just pop in a $50 Amazon fire tv 4k stick, it prolly works fine with single layer files lol..

Damn, my old crappy win7 laptop can't make single layer mp4s. it sits at 12% complete everytime, and uses 100% CPU until I stop it. left it for over 21 hours @ full CPU but remained the same, surprised I didn't kill my laptop lol. it works fine with dv passthrough. I was hoping I could make a. ts file with hd-audio to try on different devices :/

I think CloneBD can now rip to DV mp4.

Just tried the CloneBD 1.2.5.0 for Star Wars: The Last Jedi rip.
It worked wonderfully. Thank you!

It works also with tsMuxer GUI 2.6.12 (i use this)
You just have to "add" the first m2ts and then "join" the second m2ts, ... etc ... then select the tracks you need, and demux.
For Star Wars 8 it's easy, only 2 m2ts
You should try Gladiator ...

A great tool to find how to chain the m2ts is BDInfo (https://www.videohelp.com/software/BDInfo)

Most UHD BDs only use one MTS file, but most regular BD discs use a bunch. Sometimes to put Directors Cut and Theatrical Cut on the same disc or maybe old time file size limit. The Playlist also has the chapters included, which are not included in the MTS files. I do most with my ripping with MKVToolnix or StaxRip demuxing features.

Yea man, just don't use it on Transformers But really though, if there were no errors or anything I'd just try demuxing one track at a time and muxing it manually.
