Just received mine too and ripping the disk. I actually left a disk by mistake but he sent it back, no harm done. It was easy and fast too, just send him the drive, pay him via PayPal, get it back. He also sent screenshots and progress reports of what's going on. I am happy that it was him who did it and honestly, if I happened to need to have another one, I'd gladly send him the drive again.

If you need a drive flashed or are looking to purchase a pre-flashed drive, look no further. Billy promptly answered my emails, I shipped him my drive on Wednesday, he received it on Friday and it was back in the mail the same day. I received it yesterday and it is working excellent. That's less than a week, kept me updated on the process and emailed me the files immediately after he had flashed the drive. You're not gonna find anyone better.

Using makemkv I was able to backup a 4k disc without any issues and the mkv file played on Shield (Kodi) without any problems

HI ..... im new in this forum, i have a question . im using the official WH16NS60 V 1.00 to back up 4k movies , but im was using 3 differents softwares and no one is able to rip a move , driver red the movie and run with the softwares but after a few minutes o , certain %........ i get a read error . im not sure if is the driver because all my movies are brand new , even i open one and nothing .
do i need to flash this driver with the frendly driver ????? help please

for now make mkv does not support the WH16NS60 but will in an upcoming update you can cross flash it to asus 3.02 3.01 3.00 or lg 1.02 1.01 1.00 it will work in make mkv then but will have the sleep bug it is probably best to wait for support in make mkv look at the info here https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic ... 16&t=18346

1. You are posting on the completely wrong thread/topic. This thread is for buying drives/services, not support.

2. This forum is explicitly for support of the MakeMKV application/software. Not for general support of other “softwares”. Those other “softwares” have their own support forums. Go there for their support.

That drive with stock firmware is currently NOT supported by MakeMKV. But support for it is coming if you are willing to wait. Or you can crossflash it to make it UHD Friendly instead.

I wasnt able to RIP a 4k movie with a official UHD driver so he cross flashed and now I can RIP my movies , 22 movies without problems so far . Thanks you so much Billy
