Age of Ultron UHD failing repeatedly

Yeah there’s more to it than that. My Into darkness and a few other titles had issues long before the newest makemkv was out. There can be more than one source of issues and disc quality can definitely vary as many of us have experienced first hand.

100% agreed. And the movie studios wonder why we're ripping these things to hard drive....

I ended up buying a new one. That worked. Dunno maybe it was the first pressing of this title had issues though I also suspect that playing it in my refurbished $99 Sony X-800 player I had at the time permanently F'd up the disc.
