Wrinkle In Time issue

Post by madfloyd »

Has anyone been able to read this disc? It comes across as a data disc for me and MakeMKV can't read it. While it does read (and play) in my Panasonic UB900 I've seen reports of this disc not working in a few consumer players.

Something's different about it.

I think Makemkv doesn't have the decryption keys in the current keys_hashed file. I sent in a dump yesterday.

That is correct. There is confirmation that several dumps have already been sent to Mike for this title, but the key file not updated yet. Patience...

I just sent the Escape Plan dump, in the event it hasn't been sent yet.

Well, even with the new hashed_keys file, I still can't rip A Wrinkle In Time but it must be hardware related. I get two errors and then... Makemkv just stops. It doesn't crash, it just stops trying to read..

The hashed key table doesn't help when there is a read error on the disk... Soft damp cloth time.
