Out of curiosity, how'd you come up with this?

Using the PowerDVD/ProcessMonitor method (does that still work reliably?), I got the following with my Netflix US version:
Title information
Name: John Wick Chapter 2
Source file name: 00121.mpls
Duration: 2:02:22
Chapters count: 16
Size: 19.8 GB
Segment count: 20

File name: John_Wick_Chapter_2_t46.mkv
Yes, I use the *proper* way of using PowerDVD/ProcMon and it is reliable. Some knuckleheads still try sniffing out the .mpls which is incorrect because the playlist can be and is many times spoofed by PowerDVD. It's all about the segment map, not the playlist.

I am new to this and have only found the .mpls method tutorials that are out there. Do you have a link to a tutorial of the *proper* way? That would helpful for this newb. Thanks in advance!

I've not seen it documented anywhere, but then again, I haven't looked. I did a write up of what I do at your request and posted it here:

Titles with playlist protection give me multiple m2ts files. How do I combine them and in what order; what mac app works for that and will provide the full m2ts file for dolby atoms audio playback from usb hard drive on pansaonic/sony bd player?

As explained in the post, of course you'll have multiple m2ts files. Those are the individual segments. The segments are obviously in the order that they play/show up in ProcMon. I don't know anything about Macs or what the PowerDVD or ProcMon equivalent would be for you. Instructions are for Windows. There's no "combining", MakeMKV rips all of the segments of a playlist into a single MKV file.

Has anyone else encountered what I believe to be authoring errors at about the 01:15:00 mark on the John Wick Chapter 2 Blu-rays? The fight scenes are all jumbled around out of sequence until the 01:17:15 mark! At first I thought I had ripped the wrong playlist (934.mpls) but after further review I determined that ALL of scene sequence issues were within a single segment (517.m2ts) and NOT a problem with an incorrect segment mapping. I duplicated the problem using a second disc so unless I'm missing something...could someone confirm I'm not loony. I never saw the Theatrical release so I've nothing to base my observations on.

I'll forward the necessary files to Mike.
Does the Java implementation matter? I notice in your screenshot you are using the Java plugin runtime. For me its using my openJDK install of Java 8. Does Oracle's JDK or JRE work better? I have not tried using a different JVM.

Interesting question - does OpenJDK present the same interface as Oracle's java.exe? If not, MakeMKV might not detect its presence.

I suggest an email to Mike at support@makemkv.com to bring this question to his attention.

You are not loony. I too am having the same issue. Netflix Blu-ray. John Wick Chapter 2. According to previous posts, the correct file is 934.mpls. Get to 01:15:00 during the fight scenes, it bounces from one fight scene to another back to the 1st. All over the place!

I've never seen the movie so I can't imagine it was cut like this. Maybe were suppose to drop acid before watching it and everything will make sense? HELP!!!

Seriously guys? This is why we can't have nice movies. People can't follow along. YES, it's supposed to be that way. God help you if you try to watch the new King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.

Played back just fine using MPC-HC v1.7.8. Did use audio track TrueHD 48000Hz 8ch 9216kbps [A: Surround 7.1 [eng] (truehd, 48000 Hz, 7.1, s24)].
For me the playback wasn't completely fine using a PCH A-500 PRO. This is the makemkv output:

In general, this is completely normal for branched titles but I had a noticeable audio dropout at 4:23.
Did you guys have the same?
Is there anyway that makemkv can handles this better? I have another audio dropout with now you see me 2, every other branched title is fine, though.

I just ripped (for the US Netflix version) both 00934.mpls and 00121.mpls and there is no question that 00934.mpls is correct...00121.mpls is out of sequence after running them chapter by chapter alongside the actual blu-ray.

I see 440 has been listed as the correct file to copy. But my disk does not have this number listed. I have the blu-ray included in the 4k pack. Any one else have this issue? Thanks
