Malware on 1.10.1?

I got the below when I tried to install the most recent version (1.10.1). I was able to block and uninstall, and then re-install 1.10.0 just fine without issues.
Just fyi in case the file server got corrupted.

I would suggest submitting the download link you used to your antivirus provider for review. This has happened before - the fact that the server MakeMKV resides on is in Russia has been enough to get it flagged as "malware" before, and when the antivirus people checked, they cleared it.

I just did a check myself, and the copy I downloaded minutes ago is byte-for-byte identical to the copy I downloaded a week ago, and AVG finds nothing wrong with either copy. So submitting it to your vendor is the way to go on this.
