Dolby Digital Plus Problem

Any news if makemvk will support DD+?

I use this setup for playback. According to others the lab filters support Dolby atmos playback and 7.1

This is an excellent player that supports mkv playback. I only have a DD dts 5.1 6.1 amp so I cannot test 7.1

Just made this how to for madvr mpc haali splitter with lav codecs. Jitter free video playback with great Dolby and dts support. This is what I currently use for my htpc.

Because there are now some (German) blurays which contain an Atmos tracked wrapped in a Dolby Digital 7.1 track (e.g. American Sniper) it would be *really* helpful if MakeMKV would support DD+.

It would be nice if Mike could give a statement whether it will be supported some time or whether it would be better to search for a working alternative.

I confirm that the handling of DD+ from BD doesn't work at all. The DD+ should be saved as it is, with the AC3 core. Extracting the extension alone is totally useless. Please fix that huge bug.

Even with the new update 1.9.10 Problehm is there not resolved with Dolby Digital Plus .
You will be recognized only as 4.0 and will not play .
There are plenty of providers use the DD + .
For example, Disney : Finding Nemo , Monsters, Inc. u.s.w
Warner uses DD + DD for Atmos .
Minions : Dolby Digital Plus / Atmos 7.1
All German Blu - Rays
Please fixes this Probl .

Sorry, this felt under the radar. Can you please send the examples of titles that use DD+ (core+extension). To do so, open the disc in MakeMKV, switch to TESTDUMP mode, select the single title, select all audio tracks, and make a test dump of the title per instructions at /onlinehelp/testdump.html . BTW, is DD+ always requiring the AC3 core, or is it optional? I n that case I would like to see the sample of self-contained DD+ as well.

Not in 1.10.0, really sorry. Hopefully in 1.10.1, and sooner then this release.
