MakeMKV Evaluation Period Won't Reset

Hello Everyone,

Question about the new version 1.9.6. I was able to download the new version and input the new beta key to get us up and running until November, however, MakeMKV will no longer rip my Blu-Rays. As soon as it starts, it stops and said that my evaluation period has ended and that I will need to get a new key... same old same old.

The "About" page on MakeMKV states:

License Type: Freeware
Evaluation: Ended
This version expires: Wed Dec 23 2015 [83 days]

I assumed because this version has a later expiration date that the new beta key was accepted, but I get the "evaluation period ended" error when I attempt to rip my movies.

To solve the problem I have tried:
1. Re-entering the registration key. With this method I get the error back that my key has expired and has been removed. I therefore attempt to add the key again only to receive the error once more when the program re-launches, and this time if I click okay, MakeMKV opens but I am back to the "Evaluation period ended" message when I try and rip my movies.

2. I have also tried reinstalling previous and new versions of MakeMKV (including moving the current version to the trash instead of overwriting it) and the same issues as the one described above and in part one repeat themselves.

Looks like now it says:
Evaluation: Not Started

Good sign? Ill try and confirm with a Blu-Ray backup later.
