This is a debug log file from trying to open "The Haunted Mansion" DVD. This is a region 1 disc. I'm also attaching a lot file from trying to open "Pitch Perfect" Bluray. I've been able to get Bluray's working as long as I open AnyDVD HD first, but I still get errors on opening. DVD's won't open at all for me. This has been happening for the last 3 builds or more.

Charecter, just read the posts prior to yours and run Makemkv on a blu ray yourself. You will see that it doesn't work. Its not as if we can debug the program and report the results to you. It just doesn't work. It seems obvious to me that MS changed something in the copy protection scheme in order to discourage the use of such programs.

I posted links to logs, but I'm waiting for moderator approval I guess. I'll try and post them again tomorrow if they don't show up.

Mike posted in another topic that he was working on a release that addressed Windows 10 issues, amongst others. He didn't get specific about dates.

Has anyone had any more success here? Since upgrading to Windows 10 Pro, I can't rip any DVDs or Blu-rays. I get the same error messages on each disc. Running as Admin doesn't help.

Drive BD-ROM HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW UH12NS30 1.02 has RPC protection that can not be bypassed. Change drive region or update drive firmware from http://tdb.rpc1.org. Errors likely to follow.

Everything is working fine now that 1.9.5 has been released. Are you sure you are running the latest version?

Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:READ OF SCRAMBLED SECTOR WITHOUT AUTHENTICATION' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_T1.VOB [...]

^received this error upon my first attempt at ripping a disk after the windows 10 update.

Read through this board to find out the update in July fixes this issue.

 Updated Mkv and it works again.

Hope that helps lol otherwise, best of luck
