makemkv program wont run after upgrade to 1.9.4 on Window XP

Hi,

I am running Windows XP and makemkv 1.9.2 without any problems.
I tried to upgrade to 1.9.4 and makemkv GUI does not start when doubleclicking makemkv icon.
I tried to downgrade to 1.9.3 and makemkv GUI does not start when doubleclicking makemkv icon.
I then reinstalled 1.9.2 again and makemkv GUI starts immediately.

Why can't I upgrade from 1.9.2?

There are no "red flags" in the change log for 1.9.3 regarding XP, but there was an open-source DTS audio decoder added. Mike will have to say whether or not that affects XP.
