Hmmm... doesn't seem like the most trustworthy program to use.
I'll do some research on my own, and see what I can find.
I do want to point out though that this whole thing with the subtitles is incredibly frustrating.
I love the concept of MakeMKV and the MKV format. The program works wonders on the video and audio for all DVDs and Blu-rays I have thrown at it.
Unfortunately, my wife is a non-native English speaker, so the lack of decent subtitle support makes the program fairly useless for me.
It's a shame that the program doesn't have even a halfway solution like a checkbox you could check for automatically converting the subtitles to SRT files and remuxing them without a loss in video/audio quality.
Anyway, thanks again for all your help.

Converting DVD or BD subtitles to SRT/SSA is not a simple process... Are you familiar with Optical Character Recognition (OCR)? That's what has to be done to convert, because DVD and BD use graphics for subtitles, not text.
I was looking at doing that before I got a PGS-compatible player.

Yes, I am familiar with OCR, and I know it's a pain in the butt.
Thanks for the advice.
Is there any easy way to search for PGS-compatible Blu-ray players?
Thanks.
