Sry, posted the wrong page. I did follow the instructions from http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=224 and still get the same error during make. I am using Ubuntu 14.04. I did an apt-get update, apt-get upgrade and apt-get dist-upgrade and tried bulding again and still the same error.

I suspect gremlins, or some small detail I am forgetting.
