Processing BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq

It reported an odd error that doesn't show up in the MakeMKV console. Something about errors encountered, and using the generic SVQ, and then it said that the rip may contain errors. It seemed to complete as expected, but the ripped file has a ton of macro blocking and smearing. I've tried it with a few different players and they all show the same defects.

It did create a 43MB dump file. I can upload it if you like.

Thanks for confirming. I was expecting the error to show in the log, but it didn't. I wish I had snagged a screenshot of it now.

Thank you for sending the dump. SVQ is updated, MakeMKV should download it automatically and everything should work now.

Trying to rip this now and exchanged my disc thinking it was a bad disc.

FYI, mine ripped without issue with the disk specific SVQ.

spoke too soon, gave me an error going to try a full disc backups.

I highly doubt that since this is my second disc from a totally different place.

This Issue may have to do with Bus Protection.

What is bus protection? Is this the reason I am getting all these errors?

Unlikely. You might try copying the entire contents of the BD to your hard drive and then opening it with make MKV from there ( Command + O ).

That will eliminate your drive and the media as a potential issue.

Well exchanged the disc at another location, and still will not work. Other discs are working, without any issues.
