BU40N (LibreDrive 1.03) - "No disc" on The Cable Guy 4K (US 2026 Sony steelbook) - 3 copies

Drive: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N, firmware 1.03 patched (LibreDrive enabled, MT1959), USB enclosure with both Y-cable plugs connected
MakeMKV: v2.0.0 (Windows 11)

Disc: The Cable Guy 30th Anniversary 4K UHD SteelBook (US, Sony, Oct 2026), single BD-100
Mould SID: IFPI KKUB

Problem: The drive never detects the disc. MakeMKV shows "Type: No disc" / "No disc inserted" after 2-3 minutes of spin-up. With debug logging enabled, no new log lines appear when the disc is inserted. Windows Win32_CDROMDrive reports MediaLoaded = False. Explorer shows the drive as empty.

Tried:
- 3 separate copies (2 from Amazon, 1 from Walmart), all fail identically
- PC restart, re-seating the disc, direct connection to the PC (no extenders)
- Every other disc reads fine, including other BD-100 UHDs (LOTR extended, Leprechaun, TMNT Arrow) right before and after

Is this a known incompatibility with this pressing on the BU40N / MT1959 platform? Has anyone read this disc successfully, and if so with which drive/firmware?
