I wonder if Buffalo have done something to their enclosures, similar to the Archgon's?
Cheers :D

Would that mean it's not possible?

Well it appears to be flashed. Libredrive is enabled with patched firmware so it looks like the flash to BU40N 1.03-MK worked it's just that the drive info doesn't seem to have changed.

When you say "won't read any UHD discs", that is very generic. You need to be more specific.

Are there errors in the log window?
Do UHD discs not show at all?
Cheers :D

i dont think so i have flashed some of the ones that show 1.05 no longer the BN fw
im leaning towards power issue plug in to higher power ports or a powered usb hub

i have tried plugging it into different ports and a powered usb hub, neither changed the results. nothing shows up in the log window. the drive will spin but never successfully reads the disk. makemkv doesnt show anything after that, just says no disc inserted. i have also tried different UHD discs thinking maybe the one i was trying was bad but that didnt change anything either
