I have an ASUS BW-16D1H-U with the following details:

Firmware revision: E114
Firmware version: E114/ID71
Drive platform: RS8601
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-209
Firmware date: 2017-12-21
LibreDrive: Enabled

I would like to crossflash it to the correct S11 / RS8801 firmware for this RS8601 hardware.

Could you please send me the appropriate flasher and firmware package, and let me know the recommended procedure?

I want to make sure I use the correct RS8801/S11 V2 firmware and avoid anything intended for RS8800.

First of all, thank you for all the time and effort you dedicate to helping members of the MakeMKV community. I really appreciate the work you do and your willingness to share your expertise.

I recently joined the forum after researching how to enable UHD Blu-ray ripping on my ASUS BW-16D1H-U external drive.

My drive currently works perfectly with regular Blu-rays, but it does not recognize UHD 4K discs.

Here are the details reported by MakeMKV:

I came across your posts helping other members with this exact configuration, and I understand that a modified Pioneer BDR-S11 V2 firmware may allow UHD ripping.
