New to MakeMKV - fata crash

Trying to convert ISO of bluray to MKV and getting "fatal error occurred, program will now exit" or words to that effect after process is started to extract disc.

This has occurred with 3 different iso even when i mount them

MakeMKV version is 2.0. Running Windows 11. Tried lower MakeMKV version 1.8 but wont install

I've been having same problems, but with backups made. version 2 MakeMKV console application has stopped working. So I did a test. I backuped a bluray that I ripped earlier.

The backup worked. Now I loaded Makemkv and it crashed (well the console did) and makemkv locked up. I have to force close Makemkv.

I'm going to uninstall 2.0.0 and go back to 1.8.6 and see if that works.

I'm on Windows 8.0
Hopefully this will be looked into.

Okay I just installed 1.18.4 (had wrong version in last post). This seems to work.

So 2.0.0 has a problem with reading Bluray ISO or directories but NOT any problem with ripping said discs.
