I'm struggling to get my drive to read any UHD discs. It's a legit drive, bought new, it's BDR-212DBK on the sticker, MFD. in April 2022 on sticker (flasher info says May 2024), and it reads and dumps everything perfectly fine except UHD discs (i have tried many different ones, no luck, drive just spins up a few times, and fails to read a UHD disc). I have cleaned the lasers several times, and ensured the rails glide properly. My enclosure provides USB3 and 3 amps of AC power, which is enough to power the drive.

Figured it out! My drive's default reading is Quiet Mode, so I changed it to enable High Speed reading, and it now reads UHD discs perfectly!

Interesting find, about the (Quiet Mode to High Speed Reading Thingy) i will also do that change for all my existing drives i have.

Unfortunately, it only worked for the two UHD i tried, but after that, no luck, even with the two discs I had success with. So it didn't quite take sadly.
