Point Break Steelbook (original)
After successfully ripping 53 UHD disks. I have one that spins (makes weird noises) and eventually says No Disk Inserted. The Point Break Steelbook (original Point Break movie). I also tried the Bluray that came in the steelbook and get the same behavior. Both disks look flawless and both play in a UB420 fine. I read about the keys db and such, but I don't think it even gets that far. I was also trying to read about the dump file, but I don't think it leaves one. Baffled

So replace the disk, as it is brand new and spotless, and the drive was brand new before the last 53 disks this week and continues to work fine with other disks. Is it common to get a disk that places fine, but won't even show up in makemkv. I've seen plenty on disks that play fine, and get through part of the rip then fail because of a small imperfection on the disk that a player skips over

BP60NB10 is what it identifies itself as. eBay special from Korea. The price was right, $68. I guess you get what you pay for
. It's still sitting above a 98% success rate though.

A new copy of the UHD disk did indeed fix the issue. I did not try the bluray yet, but I assume that will too.
