Fake YUGIOH discs on amazon seller bluedot industries

Post by mikewho3 »

Heads up....

I ordered the YU-GI-OH! Classic: The Complete Series DVD from amazon, third party seller BlueDot Industries...

The discs were all bootleg.... they looked nice, seemed official but when I tried to open them MakeMKV gave a warning "Detected DVDFAB / MACTHERIPPER" and was unable to copy any of the discs(except disc 1 after about 20 attempts)

All the discs were single layer and the episodes extremely compressed(500mb episode), all had corrupted seek bars and time codes, and the episodes looked like absolute garbage.

I am 99% sure they are fake poorly made rips.

I am in the process of demanding a return to amazon and getting my money back.

Anyone else ran into this with these Yu-Gi-Oh! sets?

I've ordered hundreds of DVD's, Blu-ray and 4k film from Amazon and yes I have seen bootleg films, where upon loading them into MakeMKV I got the same warning "Detected DVDFAB"

I sent them back and received a refund. Once, I sent a message to the seller that he sold me a bootleg copy and it was a used DVD. The guy replied like he was a major production company saying problems in production caused this. I replied with the fact I was backing up the copy and got a "Detected DVDFAB" error. I told him selling illegal unlicensed copies is illegal. He then deleted his account, lol.
