Hello
Something odd happened, after successfully ripping hundreds CDs, DVDs, BD, and UHD BD, my Asus BW-16D1HT suddenly does not read anything other than CDs. This happened after successfully reading and ripping John Wick UHD.
I have uninstalled and re-installed MakeMKV to the latest version (2.0) without success. Any suggestions?
Thank you.
PS; I forgot to mention, I see the latest MakeMKV indicates v1.18.4, even after several re-installs I seem to stay on v1.18.3. I'm not sure this is part of my problem.

First thing to try is always power the drive down completely
For 5 mins
If that don't work try cleaning the the lasers

Hello Billycar11
Thank you for your reply and suggestion. I had cleaned the drive without success, however your suggestion to switch if off for ~5 minutes did work! I am surprised this happened, I will keep the drive switched off until I need to use it.
I will re-post here if I encounter further issues. Again, thank you!
