I used MakeMKV on my DVD "The Passion of the Christ" (English release) but it only found 4 substantial titles, two of 2 hrs 1 min 52 secs and and two of 2 hours 6 mins 32 secs. There were two other titles of under 20 seconds each. The titles with identical longer times appear to be exactly the same as well as the titles with identical shorter times.
All four appear to be the same when watched, with the shorter ones likely being the recut version (with 4 mins 40 secs of extreme graphic scenes cut out).
Basically two pairs of the exact same video.
The back of the DVD lists four special features:
1. Two versions (original and recut)
2. Audio commentary for original version
3. Biblical footnotes for original version
4. Music commentary for original version
I am not seeing 2, 3 and 4 at all.
Any ideas how to process this DVD so everything shows up?
hidden titles on DVD? is that possible?

Re: hidden titles on DVD? is that possible?
Under MakeMKV preferences > Protection tab > DVD structural protection removal method
Default mode is 'Auto'. Try any of the discrete modes... CellTrim, perhaps?

found what is going on
There are no titles missing.
What is actually happening is that each of the 4 largest titles (each one by itself is the movie - 2 original and 2 recut) have 8 audio tracks, 7 of which are checked by default.
They are:
1. Aramaic
2. English (default used by all players and only possible one used by Roku Media Player if MKV includes all tracks)
3. Spanish - not checked by default
4. Descriptive audio (for the blind, presumably)
5. Commentary #1
6. Commentary #2
7. Commentary #3
8. Commentary #4
I found this out by playing the MKV file in Emby and VLC. If I wanted Roku Media Player to play each of the 4 commentaries, I would need to create 4 additional MKV files.
(Which is not worth the effort and a waste of disk space.)
BUT...that leaves me with a question. I understand the presence of two titles: one for the slightly larger original, and one for the slightly smaller recut. Why are there 2 of each?
I don't notice any difference between either pair of MKV files of the same size.
