MKV will not open BD-R

[Peabody111]

I just got a new Buffalo BRXL-PUS6U3B slim and I got a BD-R of the old George of the Jungle cartoon series .
Popped in the disk and MKV begins to read the disk and freezes and then give me, "Fatal error occurred, program will now exit"
The drive played the BD-R in VLC media player just fine.
Idea's?

If you're using MakeMKV version 2.0.0, try downgrading to 1.18.4.

This seems to be a fairly common issue in 2.0.0.
