Re: Help with a Pioneer BDR-UD02
Libredrive is enabled, so is good for Blu-ray Discs but I think it might be too old for cross-flashing for UHD.redrok84 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 7:10 am Maybe a long shot, but looking to see if this drive could be firmware flashed / enabled for UHD:

Re: Help with a Pioneer BDR-UD02
hi redrok84, i wonder if you still have your UD02 with you? i have a UD02 also, but i didnt back up the original firmware before proceeding to crossflash it to a UD03 and then eventually to a UD04...now its a dead drive as the laserhead mechanism is stuck at the extreme opposite end instead of being positioned next to the central spindle where it should always be positioned to read discs..
if you still have your ud02, i would definitely be grateful if i could get the original ud02 firmware to bring back to live my dead ud02. thanks.

Re: Help with a Pioneer BDR-UD02
Would you be willing to backup your UD02 firmware and upload it to say Google drive? Your firmware could then be used to rescue misflashed UD02 drives. A new free firmware flasher is avaialble since a couple of days. Just need to know on which OS you are.redrok84 wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 7:10 am Maybe a long shot, but looking to see if this drive could be firmware flashed / enabled for UHD:
