I don't think LG ever released a flasher tool for BP55EB40 SVC NB52. I've only ever seen the original BP55EB40 NB40 1.01 firmware flasher which won't work.

The easiest way would be to just flash the drive with the BP55EB40 NB50 1.03-MK firmware. That's the closest you'll ever get to the original firmware.

As Marty would say, this is for firmware restoration purposes only. This kind of firmware is not UHD-enabled.

I have an LG BH16NS55 with original 1.04 firmware that I will flash with OmniDrive. If I want to revert back to stock firmware do I just use the 1.05 flasher that was posted here? I haven't found the original flasher for 1.04, but there is a 1.04 MK firmware in the MK firmware pack.

When flashing OmniDrive, can I just flash directly to it? I don't know if the original 1.04 firmware is encrypted or if that even matters.

Please be aware that you will be cross-flashing an LG drive to an ASUS firmware, so your drive might lose its ability to burn discs.

Anyhow, for this operation : no rawflash full (no bootloader flash), no rawflash boot (no RECOVER).

Whether you need to use encryption (or "rawflash enc" instead of "rawflash main" with the command line) depends on the firmware date shown in MakeMKV. If it's 2120 or above, use encryption when flashing, if it's below 2120 (such as, say, 2119), do not use encryption.

I successfully flashed OmniDrive. The firmware date was 2119 so I didn't use encryption.

If the official flasher has the potential to half-brick a drive then I'll just use the 1.05 DE or MK firmware if I need to revert to "stock". I won't be burning discs so I'll probably never need to revert, but it's good to know how to do it.

There is no publicly available "1.05-DE" firmware for the BH16NS55 as far as I know (there is a 1.02-DE though) but there is an MK firmware for that one inside the MK firmware pack (HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS55-1.05-NM00400-212004211049.bin).
