Flashing issues

I flashed a ASUS BW-16D1X-U, and it ripped my copy of Disclosure Day but after that the drive will not read any discs.

remove all power from the drive for 5 mins then power backup and try again
this is very common on lg and asus rebrand drives

what case is it in?
but sure wont hurt to try seen case psus die
and sadly sometimes cases kill drives i have moved now to not recommending cases

sorry for jumping into this tread, but I have the same issue with my LG BH16NS55 with ASUS BW-16D1HT Firmware 3.02. After months of working flawlessly and making backups of Bluray- and UHD-Disks, the drive suddenly and unexpectedly lost its ability of reading those media. It started after I ripped a DVD successfully. Since then, only DVD are recognized and can be processed with makemkv.
