Happy Feet Failed to Open Disc

I've tried to copy the movie Happy Feet using two different DVDs on two different drives (1 Blu-ray drive and 1 DVDRW drive) on both drives and from both DVDs I get the same errors listed below. Has anyone found a workaround for this?

Same problem. I've got Four (4) DVD's with all the same fail mode. I've tried on 3 separate DVD players (Internal and external/USB), two different Bluray drives (one flashed to do 4K) and still no luck.

It appears that VTS_02_1.VOB is the troublemaker.

I've been told that using the long-abandoned "DVD Decrypter" and it's "File Splitting" capabilities may be the answer. I have not tried. The objective is to decrypt the VTS_01 material only (108 minute in length), avoiding the troublesome VTS_02.

I am hoping that the MakeMKV app will be updated to overcome this issue, but it has been years.
