VLC Reporting I Don't Have Java

Now, I recently installed a different version of JRE to make an old piece of software work, so it might be related to that, but I just tried BFI's disc of After Love and in VLC and it's reporting that due to Java not being installed it's going to play without menus. I played a couple of Radiance discs earlier today, though, and they were fine. BFI's Chronology of Water was also fine recently, but that may have been before the change in Java version.
