via wine to keep a local copy updated and

FindVUK.exe ValidateDisc
to turn all of my discs into validated entries (as well as add new entries where an existing media key or (for standard Blu-ray) device key works for the disc). It appears FindVUK.exe uses a built-in key to sign all submissions, so it seems there is indeed no way to submit without using that binary.

I'm glad to hear you've established a good workflow. It would be great if more users could make a habit of validating keydb entries with FindVUK.

The latest version of MakeMKV should be able to decrypt AACS v82 standard blu-ray discs.
