Hello,
My copy of "Red Heat" starring Schwarzenegger has issues opening. It searches the disc, ticks and wont open even at the explorer level, internally.
I bought it from amazon in 2021 so it is past its return date by a lot.
Did anyone else have issues?
If so what are the solution?
Should I sell it and buy a new copy?
also the drive has no issues with 99% of my 4k collection and even the one after worked fine. So I don't think its my drive. It is a 4k official drive flashed to spec btw. (LG Electronics BP60NB10 Ultra Slim Portable Blu-Ray & DVD Writer)

I remember I had a similar problem with Criterion's The Others UHD.
It couldn't open at all, my drive didn't recognize it.
I had already done some of the advice I got from Criterion (eg. clean/wash the disc itself, power resetting player etc.) and I couldn't do the rest (update firmware - I was advised by the one who sold me the player not to do that, or else I wouldn't be able to play UHDs anymore).
I eventually cleaned the laser of the drive (or what I thought was the laser lens
) with alcohol and a cotton swab like I saw in a youtube video.
Weird thing? The disc now loaded and played fine.
