Thanks for the submission chucky527c but both of your discs were added to the keydb roughly 24 hours before your post. If you are using SamuriHL's KeyDB Assistant tool and it indicates that the media key, volume ID, VUK, and unit keys are present you don't need to post anything to this thread.

If you were searching for your discs in the public keydb the correct disc ID for The Saint is 0xD589AADC222C33025AE1285D0D21F6BAFC1F7354 and Enemy at the Gates is 0x2AFC72BD4B5A69B6D94E1A60B25402D82CE17B22. The process for generating these disc ID values is outlined in the opening post of this thread.

Sorry for the unnecessary work. Even though I've done this many times before, this time I made a mistake.

Thanks for the submission allenpeak but your disc was added to the public keydb on May 19.

Your log indicates a transient failure occurred whilst MakeMKV was trying to activate LibreDrive. Power down your drive completely, reboot your PC, make sure the keydb is in the correct location and you should be good to go.

Thanks to everyone who followed the template and provided new disc dump files. The following UHD discs have been added to the public keydb (new media keys are indicated with an asterisk):

Code: Select all

*MKB20_v82_Center_Stage_B094
MKB20_v77_Chinatown_244B
*MKB20_v82_BACKROOMS_CA6E

Thanks for the very comprehensive submission el_vandragon but don't stress too much about the timestamp. It is an honour system after all and I don't want folks to effectively reveal their time zone when posting here.

I have a question i don't seem to find the solution for.

I have added two discs with FindVUK (with dvdfab), and they are present in my keydb.cfg in .MakeMKV-folder for my user.
The last one I added today was 0x75954CFCBC4EFB24CA8721C67FAC8ABEEFF2F289
But MakeMKV can't seem to find the key and use it, so get that the volume key is unknown. (yes, i have restarted MakeMKV)

My ISP have blocked MakeMKVs "key server", so I'm only using keydb.
For reference I'm in the middle of ripping Stranger Things, so MakeMKV utilizes(?) they keydb file.

When running Validate through keydb_helper it checks out, and verifies that the correct key is in the file: KEYDB: Identical entry already present in keydb-file

Which disks are you having issues with for Stranger Things? There were a couple (Season 2 Disc 2, Season 4 Disc 3, Season 5 Disc 2) that were not encrypted so you need to backup the disk and then delete the aacs folder before throwing it back into MakeMKV to process. See here for more.
