BR Problem on my Mac

Hi there,

on my Mac I have in my profile the version below. And some BRs like Der letzte Kaiser german version does not work. May be I need to update my AACS version. But I do not know where I to download and how to install.

The 'Highest AACS version' number that MakeMKV displays is just a listing of the highest AACS version that optical drive has seen. There's nothing for you to install to change it.

Does MakeMKV show some error messages when you try to rip Der letzte Kaiser?

yes, but unfortunately only in German language. Telling me I need a higher version.

Usually the version of AACS on the disc is embedded in the name of the .tgz dump file. That would suggest the disc uses AACS 15.

According to blu-ray.com the oldest release of the German version of The Last Emperor (1987) is in 2011. I don't know which version you have, but it is plausible that a disc from 2011 might be AACS 15.

I would expect MakeMKV to handle old versions of AACS like that easily. Perhaps there is something else wrong.
