It took me a while but XS06 can't be flashed to be UHD capable. Sorry!

It’s interesting how the XD05 can be reflashed to XD06U, because Pioneer essentially reused the XD05 top-loading mechanism and electronics for the XD06U.

But there’s no reflash route for XS06 because Pioneer never released an XS06UHD on that platform…
