Hey everyone,
I just got a new NAS and set up Jellyfin. Now I’d like to rip some of my movies and get started.
Easier said than done, though, because I’ve run into one problem:
How do I know whether a drive supports LibreDrive?
There are so many different drives out there. How can I check whether a random drive I find on eBay or Amazon is compatible?
I’ve watched a couple of YouTube videos, read some posts, and asked AI, but I still feel like I have no clue. It seems like it shouldn’t be that hard to understand, but maybe I’m missing something.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

I'd like to add that if you need a LibreDrive compatibility list for the firmware itself, please check the following topic :

I do not know whether this list is 100% up-to-date however.
