I'd like to offer you Pioneer external slimline 4K UHD Blu‑ray drives for sale.

Verbatim 43890 comes with USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 Y-Cable and external EU/UK power adapter (using it is optional).

Please note: the dates I provide are the actual manufacturing dates of the drives, not the dates when Verbatim assembled them into their enclosures.

All Verbatim 43889/43890 drives have been crossflashed by me with firmware, which enables ripping 4K UHD Blu-ray discs.
Verbatim 43888 is an UHD official drive and can read 4K UHD discs right out of the box, without any modifications.

Most of the drives were manufactured in 2024, which was the final year of production for these units.
All drives have been thoroughly tested for 4K UHD disc compatibility and have successfully passed all tests.

Store return units may have factory packaging that is damaged to varying degrees, while the drives themselves remain in like new visual and technical condition.
In some cases, original packaging elements such as internal foam inserts may be missing. Occasionally, the rubber feet may also be absent.
If this doesn't bother you because you care about the drive rather than the box, this is an opportunity to save some money.

All NOS units come with original packaging showing only minimal storage wear and include the complete factory contents.
They were opened solely for the required testing and then repacked.

Newest units are shipped first.

I ship from Poland within one business day via DHL within the EU (shipping cost: €15) and accept PayPal payments, as well as bank transfers.
Regarding questions about shipping to the USA and Canada, I can offer UPS / FedEx shipping for €35 ($40).
You can return the drive within 14 days if you are not satisfied or if you changed your mind.

I've added one unit of the Pioneer BDR‑XD08EMB‑S Moonlight Black.
The drive is running factory firmware version 1.02 and is capable of reading 4K UHD discs.
Like new, complete factory set in the original packaging. Only one unit available. Ask for photos.

I've also decided to sell two Pioneer BDR‑XD08 drives with factory post 12/2022 firmware, which means I'm unable to crossflash them.

I would like to thank skyrider for my Verbatim 43888 w. Pioneer BDR-UD04 1.14 (shipped to France). The drive arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. Here's what I tried to do with the drive so far :

Audio CD playing - worked flawlessly
Audio CD ripping - worked flawlessly
DVD ripping - worked flawlessly
Blu-ray ripping - worked flawlessly
"Difficult" 4K Blu-ray ripping - worked flawlessly

I haven't tried burning a disc yet, but I assume it would work flawlessly as well.

The speed of this Pioneer drive is also way more stable than that of my LG drives (I believe it's more stable than my Buffalo drive, even). Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Skyrider sent me a Verbatim 43888 w. Pioneer BDR-UD04 1.14 to the U.S. It took about a week to arrive from when it was dropped off in Europe.

It's working like a champ for DVD, Blu-Ray and 4k Blu-rays so far.
