Public KeyDB Disc Submissions

Hey Crappusername, your disc has been in the public keydb for a few weeks. What you've experienced is a MakeMKV issue with processing unencrypted discs. Follow the steps listed by trashraccoon here to backup your disc.

I've come across some strange disc authoring issues in my time but that one is a first. Thanks.

It is a rare occurrence and you'll have two similar discs in your Stranger Things collection.

The only other examples which come to mind are The Wicker Man and City on Fire.

Disc is not in public keydb, but MakeMKV can somehow decrypt the disc so it didn't create a disc dump file to submit. I've had to create a manual dump (with full MKB_RO.inf included), according to the instructions here viewtopic.php?p=193096#p193096
First time doing this. I hope I did everything correctly.

Hey SoggySunfish, thanks for taking the time to manually create a usable disc dump file and welcome to the forum. Your disc has been added to the public keydb.

MakeMKV will utilise its native hashed key database by default. This is distinct from the public keydb and the two databases support a distinct set of titles.

If you find any other discs in your collection which are not in the public keydb feel free to pass along as many manual disc dump files as you can muster.
