I am hoping someone can help me with this.
The issue I am having is that I am able to use MAKEMKV to make a file with my disc, and it plays fine over my PC. However when I move the file to a flash drive/Hard drive to watch on my TV, it plays with the disc commentary playing over the movie track, or if I select specific audio files to not be included in the rip, it omits the sound all together. This problem doesnt seem to show up when I rip a standard DVD. Only Bluray. I have a Samsung TV. The options for the audio tracks are as follows:
-DTS-HD MA Surround 5.1 English
-DTS Surround English
-DD Stereo English
What am I doing wrong here? Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Recent Samsung TVs do not support DTS audio.
There are two competing, different ways to encode audio that you'll find on discs. One is Dolby Digital and the other is DTS. There are different versions of each of these formats with DVDs supporting the older, lossy (and therefor smaller) compression schemes and blu-rays supporting both the older versions and the newer, lossless (and therefor larger) compression schemes.
It is probably the case that your disc has the main audio for the movie in a DTS format while the commentary track is in a Dolby Digital format. Since probably your TV can't decode the DTS audio, it plays the only audio track it can, the Dolby Digital encoded commentary track.
The possible solutions include… transcode the DTS audio into Dolby Digital audio.
Or if you have separate speakers and a receiver, pass the audio to the receiver and let it decode and play the sound.
Or use a player that supports DTS and Dolby Digital. This is why lots of people run a Plex or Jellyfin server and use an AppleTV or Roku box plugged into the TV as a client.
Or get a different TV. Not supporting DTS is a choice Samsung has made. I think both modern Sony and LG TVs support both Dolby Digital and DTS audio.

modern LG TVs have also dropped DTS. Modern Sony's are the only TV that support it.
The bigger annoyance is that none of these TVs support passthrough of DTS either if they have something attached over earc that can decode DTS.
