Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair UHD rip not progressing

hi there! sorry if this is a common issue that has a fix that's widely known, i'm not really here a lot and Google hasn't helped me.

i'm currently attempting to rip the new UHD release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair and i'm having this weird issue where the MKV-making stops at 654.1 MB and doesn't progress. the time remaining just continues to increase, going past 10 hours remaining with no progress made after 10 minutes. is this another sneaky Lionsgate rip protection thing going on, or my drive being weird, or... something else?

if it helps, i got the ASUS BW-16D1HT, connected externally.

Having the same problem. Stauls at 636M for me.

i really do wonder what it could be then. i've been able to rip everything else from the UHDs besides the movie, and the bonus fortnite special on the first disc. that's including the menu videos and logos and piracy screens and whatnot.

the 1080p BDs are just fine btw, it's only the UHDs in this instance

Mine was supposed to be delivered today but has been delayed. Hopefully Monday. I'll see if I have the same issue. May be a mastering issue potentially or just a bad batch of discs.

i don't really feel like returning anything... has anyone tried this with the standard edition discs? or is it all happening with the collector's edition?

Also having the same issue, though I cant read the second disc as it comes up with an unknown volume key.

I made an account just to talk about this, I have the collectors edition. Disc one successfully ripped, though it took a really long time, I had walked away and was surprised to see 4 hours later it hadn't completed. Disc two stalled out at 938mb for me. This is for the UHD, I have a S13 UBK

I am having the same issue. 654.1 MB and then it stops.

Xreveal was able to decrypt the video, so i was able to make an MKV from that with both discs. this could just be a program issue.
