Hi leighdog, I've got the same problem. Have you had the chance to try another drive?

The problem with my Verbatim 43888 was a dirty laser lens. I cleaned it three times with a Q-tip and isopropyl alcohol and dried it with a microfiber cloth.leighdog wrote: Fri May 29, 2026 2:17 am ok thanks , can u link his details here or send my a private msg direct to me if thats better ? many thanks
It’s interesting that the dirty lens only affected the second Lawrence of Arabia 4K disc. I didn’t have this problems with the first disc or any other movies.
I hope your problem can be solved just as easily.

Mine looked clean as well, but cleaning it as described did the trick.leighdog wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2026 12:27 am hello , no i havnt tried another drive yet , i did reach out to a drive seller through this website but i never heard anything back . i checked my current ripper drives laser and it was pretty clean also , did u say u got ur disc 2 working ? thanks
Yes, I was able to rip the second disc afterwards. Hope that helps
