Problematic HD-DVDs

Hi All,

I have a dutch HD-DVD that Makemkv detects (the physical disc and an ISO) but the drive icon remains greyed out.
The disc can be copied with redumper but then when loading that it is still greyed out
Can anyone advise me?

I'm re-ripping some of my HDDVDs and have some that wont rip but do not have any read errors.

These ones are detected as HDDVD but immediately say failed to open with no other error given:
Pans Labyrinth - Newline USA
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - Warner USA
Tideland - Concorde Germany
Death At A Funeral - Concorde Germany

This one complains of IFO issues and fails to open:
Galapagos - BBC UK

This one opens without error but cant find any of the main episodes (Just short intro style vids):
Heroes Season 1 Disc 4 - Universal USA

Anyone have any issue with the same discs? I have particularly some Warner titles that have rotted and give obvious errors but these discs seem like they could be a MakeMKV issue.

That is a bad disc / rot, my disc copied fine.
