Bob's Burgers Season 3 DVD-R only exposing half the episodes

Apologies if I leave something out, but I'm new to this.

I'm using MakeMKV 1.18.4 on Windows with an external Blu-ray drive (BD-RE XD External blura, firmware 1.02 HK27).

I'm trying to rip a Bob's Burgers Season 3 DVD set. I believe it is the Amazon Manufactured-on-Demand DVD-R release.

The issue is that MakeMKV is only detecting about half of the episodes on each disc (ie disc 1 should contain 8 episodes, only showing 4 episode titles about 21 mins each)

Things I've already tried:
Cleaned the discs.
Reinserted the discs multiple times.
Enabled Expert Mode.
Verified my minimum title length is 120 seconds.
Reset the drive region to Region 1.
Tried HandBrake (it hangs while scanning).
Tried VLC (cannot access the missing episodes).

The interesting part is that the discs work correctly in a standalone DVD player. I can select and play all of the episodes from the DVD menu, including the ones MakeMKV doesn't see.
I also tested Bob's Burgers Season 4 using the same drive and the same version of MakeMKV, and it detects all 8 episodes correctly. So the drive and MakeMKV appear to work normally with other discs.

The MakeMKV log contains messages such as:
Title #3 declared length is 2:51:52 while its real length is 1:30:33 - assuming fake title
Title #9 declared length is 2:51:52 while its real length is 1:30:31 - assuming fake title
along with:
The source file '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_03_1.VOB' is corrupt or invalid at offset 14336, attempting to work around
but the operation otherwise completes successfully.

Has anyone seen this with the Bob's Burgers Season 3 MOD DVDs or know if there's a workaround?
