Those Pesky Too Brief Items

Not sure whether this is the correct section for this, and I wouldn't be surprised if the question has come up before. I regularly transfer recordings from a DVR, usually via DVD-RW, although DVD-RAM should also work for that. In the course of doing so, invariably there will be a few items that trip over the "skipped, because it's less than 120 seconds in length" thing. For the case that I'm processing as I type this, it's 3 out of the 16 items. This is inconvenient, mildly annoying. My workaround has been to use a different program to extract / transfer those instead, and that has been an effective solution. But it leaves me wondering: Could there be any future enhancement to the MakeMKV features to address these "shortfall" items ? Or would that just not be possible, for some technical reason(s) ?

You can adjust that setting in preferences under the video tab.

Thanks very much ! I was entirely unaware of that, and thought there might be some ironclad barrier which could not be altered.
