I just got the 20th of The DaVinci Code and it has hardcoded subtitles. I was hoping to put together a segment map of the movie with any shots that were used for non-English subtitles (like what Star Wars did), and stitch them together so that I could make a "clean" version of the film and create subtitles with a different font.
However, MakeMKV shows the movie has a single segment. Is that true? It looks like there are a ton of segments on the disc. The problem is, without proper maps to reference, I don't even know if I can stitch something together at all. Any insight into this?
Note: I had to send the disc back for a replacement because one of the discs was scratched, so I can't check anything more until I get the replacement in.
