The "validate" functionality needs to have an entry in the KEYDB.cfg file to validate. And when there isn't any such entry for your disk then the helper utility needs to create one first. Whether or not it can create this new entry is unfortunately a matter of luck, but it would always recommend trying to validate your disk anyway, just in case.el_vandragon wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2026 4:08 am Oh fascinating, I thought people were mostly just using it to sync KEYDB files, I normally just use FindVUK manually and didn't realize this could be used to get missing information. To be fair, I would consider just upgrading a "NOT VALIDATED" entry to a "VALIDATED" one to be worth it
