Updated the initial post. I still have plenty of Verbatim 43888/43890 in stock.

Updated the initial post. I managed to get one unit of a like-new ASUS BW-12D1SU with a Pioneer BDR-209 in stock, including the original packaging and all the accessories.

I ordered one of the drives from heisenberg. They were flexible on payment methods and sent the drive the same day they received the it (the payment). The drive itself works as advertised. Throughout the order process I was supplied many pictures of the drive and virtual info of it.
Re: 4K/UHD Pioneer drives (internal & external) for sale, new & tested!
Hi, just want to share that I have successfully ripped 9 UHD disks after buying a "Verbatim 43888 with Pioneer UD04" from heisenberg. I had the drive in my hands after 4 business days
I am new to UHD ripping, heisenberg kindly gave me some friendly help to get going, after I experienced that the very first disk I wanted to rip was not in the current keydb.cfg !
"The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted"
heisenberg gave me a 4 step process to investigate. It turned out that my specific disk was really not in the official database. That was easily solved
- I e-mailed svq@makemkv.com with the archive that MakeMkv created in ~/Library/MakeMkv (I'm on a Mac) which describes what was missing
- then I polled this site https://fvonline-db.bplaced.net - several times a day - and downloaded an updated keydb.cfg and put it in ~/Library/MakeMkv. The files are updated several times a day!
After 2 days there was a key added for my specific disc, and boom, I could rip that disc too.
MakeMkv is supposed to sync with the latest file upon start, but my experience was it happens one time in 20 or less. I believe the connection for the automatic sync is about as slow as to the forum, and times out (silently) and no update happens. In other words, it's best do download manually if your disc is not in the file.
Part of the packaging was German candies, highly addictive, I cannot recommend him highly enough.
