Ripping ER (TV Show) DVDs issues

Post by TK Doom »

I just got into PLEX and have ripped all my DVD/bluray/4k movies with little to no problems.

However once i started my TV, i've had issues.

Currently I have all of the original ER season sets, and of the 15, I can't rip:

Season 5: Disc 2 and 5

Season 6: Discs 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Season 7: All discs

Season 8: All Discs

These are the errors I get-

this:

Calculated BUP offset for VTS #1 does not match one in IFO header.

then:

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_02_1.VOB' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 1.00 SIK0FPCMG1249' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_03_1.VOB' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 1.00 SIK0FPCMG1249' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_04_1.VOB' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 1.00 SIK0FPCMG1249' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading '/VIDEO_TS/VTS_05_1.VOB' at offset '0'
Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:TIMEOUT ON LOGICAL UNIT' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP60NB10 1.00 SIK0FPCMG1249' at offset '0'

Any ideas?

Some of the discs play fine until the last episode on a regular DVD player, i didn't check them all. 2 different models of LG drives.

All other season prior and after this i ripped with no issues, all were stored in the same area (in cases, in a bookcase, in a dry environment). I'm not really a 'high seas' kinda guy, or I would have just gotten them that way. I have used 3 different drives, 2 of the same type and 1 different.

TIA!
