The drive arrived quickly and very professionally packed/packaged. I received regular shipping updates and follow-up emails to ensure that everything arrived as expected.
I had several questions before buying and he was patient, prompt, and very helpful the whole time, especially given the family emergency.
The drive worked immediately upon plugging it in and I've ripped around 10 Blu-rays without any issue whatsoever, reaching expected speeds on each rip.
This is great way to repurpose drives that were likely otherwise bound for a trash heap in the ocean.
If you're on the fence, I hope you decide to reach out and give larhaus and his drives a chance. I'd do it again without a second thought.

Bought one of these and it works great! Was very well packaged and answered the questions I had. Would buy from again for sure.

I got one of these drives March 2025 and love it. It does what he says it does.
Larry is great. Quick with the communication. Open about the whole process and extremely nice.
The drive came in extremely well packaged. No way the the drive to be damaged during shipping.
The dive works better than I could have expected. It does what Larry says it does. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
In the last year, I ripped about 28 or so UHD, probably 2 twice than in Blu-rays, and a few older DVDs and had no issues with the hardware.
Only 2 issues cropped up.
First one, I was using my front USB ports on my tower. The first few disks were ok, then some issues. Decided to change to my back ports and things have been smooth sailing since.
The 2nd issues was a disk issue. A Blu-ray didn't like the drive. Not sure why. Thankfully I had my older drive to get that done.
If I ever need another drive, I hope Larry would have some to sell. It has been nothing but good things with this drive. Been a boon to my burgeoning UHD library. Very happy.
