Bit of a silly question, but I just tried to rip The Wicked: For Good Blu-ray (American, Universal Pictures release) and the dump file that got created was MKB_v82_Wicked-_For_Good_8426.tgz. Note the difference in the last four characters.

Does this mean I have a different version that needs to be submitted as well or are the last four characters an unrelated identifier?

If the last four characters are different then your disc needs a different key. You should email your dump to svq@makemkv.com.

You could also try an alternative source of keys for MakeMKV, the public keyDB. It might contain the key your disc needs. If not, you can submit the dump to them as well.

Someone has already attached a file with that same name here, so you definitely don't need to attach yours here as well. All you really need do is email it to svq@makemkv.com, although if you would also like your disk added to the public KEYDB.cfg file as well then you can upload your TGZ file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive and then post a public download link here.

BTW this is the BD sub-forum. There is a separate sub-forum for UHD disks like yours.
