Strange dvd reset error

I am trying to rip the 4th disk of the simpsons season 11. I bought this new, and took the seal off myself. Every other disk was fine, but this disk in particular has an issue where when the disk tries to open, it will error out, and then go to the beginning, except it won't show that there is a disk in the drive. i have to eject the disk and then reinsert it. I have tried this disk with multiple drives, same issue, and I tested my main drive with another disk, worked perfectly fine. I have also noticed that these issues aren't present with a different dvd, so it's most likely not the drive's fault.
