Hi thanks I didn't notice the different path - not sure why I had two paths, may have tried to do this before. I have changed my data directory in MakeMKV settings (to the normal default location) and put all files including keydb.cfg in the data directory, and all is now fine, I am ripping Excalibur 4K. Also, next time I will follow the correct process/submission format, apologies. Many thanks!

i am unsure about the disc id, as all the others have a very long number- would be kind of you to tell me where i can get this data

Hey t1ll1van1ll1, the long number is the SHA-1 hash of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file. You'll find this file inside the AACS directory on your disc. You can calculate this hash value with tools such as 7-zip on Windows or the shasum/sha1sum command-line utility on Linux/macOS.

Thanks to everyone who followed the template and provided new disc dump files. I believe all submissions have been added to the public keydb.

If you're on Windows (which has PowerShell installed by default), you can open PowerShell and run this command (this assumes D is the letter associated with your UHD/blu-ray disc drive -- you'll need to change that if it's different on your computer):

Get-FileHash "D:\AACS\Unit_Key_RO.inf" -Algorithm SHA1 | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Hash

This should work on macOS or Linux as well if you have PowerShell installed.
